The early versions of the MVT 1000 tower have been in use for 10 years at a variety of resorts and typically used with the K2000 and K3000 snow guns. The MVT 1000 is a proven tower design that is easily adaptable to a wide variety of snowmaking equipment. The basic simplicity of this design was the product of many hours of testing and input from experienced snowmakers. The result is a practical and flexible design that can accommodate the full range of snowmaking conditions. In strong winds drop the tower to a low position and re-angle the snow gun, in uphill mode raise the tower and re-angle the snow gun; under almost any snowmaking condition this tower will do the job. Extensive snowmaking testing demonstrates that this tower configuration will improve overall snow gun productivity by 15% to 25% depending on environmental conditions. The tower height will also markedly increase the area covered by the snow gun.

This tower is available in two heights: 10 ft. and 12 ft. This in combination with a 4" dia. and 6 ft. length ground mounting post will provide the optimal height for the majority of snowmaking conditions and snowmaking terrain.
